Carly's First International Vacation
We took a 5 day vacation to Sandos Caracol Resort in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico. This was Carly's first trip out of the country. We spent most days by the pool because Carly wouldn't go into the Ocean and barely could stand the sand. On our last day, we went to a Nature Park called Xel Ha that was right by the Ocean and had paths through the jungle for walking all around the water. It was a great trip!

Searching for Birds
The beach was wiped out by Hurrican Wilma, so they set up these sandbags to protect the beach from the waves. Birds sat there all day
Cliffs for jumping at Xel Ha. These cliffs also had a rockwall for climbing back up and a rope for swinging out into the water
The swinging bridge sat right on the water near where the ocean flowed into the resort. Good for many laughs!! You can see a big Pelican just standing by the entrance
What a spot for relaxation

Iguanas ran free at Xel Ha. We saw TONS of them

Carly loved to be pulled through the water
We went to downtown Playa Del Carmen one night and walked around the city. This was the beach right before sunset downtown
